We kept asking the same question:

Made Possible Designs started with a simple idea between two friends: if you can imagine something, there should be a way to make it real.
We’re Russ and Nick, and Made Possible Designs is our New Jersey-based custom design studio creating personalized, one-of-a-kind pieces made around the people, places, teams, pets, moments, and ideas that matter to you.
We were tired of choosing from what’s already out there.
You know the feeling.
You have an idea for the perfect gift, something for your kid’s room, a piece for the team, an award that people would actually want to keep, or something completely random that exists perfectly in your head.
Then you start looking for it.
And it doesn’t exist.
Or you find something close.
- Wrong color.
- Wrong name.
- Wrong size.
- Generic.
- Mass-produced.
Almost what you wanted, but not quite.
We thought there should be another option.

That’s the idea behind Made Possible Designs.
From an idea to something you can hold.
What started as experimenting with what we could design and make quickly turned into something much bigger.
We realized modern design and manufacturing tools could let us create objects that previously would have been impractical to make as one-offs.
Not hundreds.Not thousands.One.
A piece designed around one person, one story, one team, one office, one pet, or one completely random idea.
And when you see an idea go from a conversation, to a sketch, to a digital design, to a finished object sitting in front of you, something clicks.
We can actually make this. That’s when Made Possible Designs became more than an idea.

We don’t want to make disposable stuff.
Whether it’s a $40 desk accessory or a premium custom commission, the goal is the same: create something you’d be excited to give, display, use or keep.

We’re constantly experimenting with new designs, materials, techniques and ways of making things.
If we haven’t made something before, that doesn’t automatically mean the answer is no. Sometimes that’s exactly what makes us want to try it.

Made Possible Designs was founded by Russ Brick and Nick Marchesani in New Jersey.
We’re two friends who share a belief that some of the best things shouldn’t come off a shelf. They should start with an idea.

- An inside joke.
- A milestone.

Or that thing you’ve been trying to describe that simply doesn’t exist yet.
Those are the projects we love. Because there’s something pretty incredible about watching someone see an idea that used to exist only in their head sitting in front of them for the first time.
